Younger Now

Are you ready to turn back the clock and embrace your youthful energy? Look no further than Younger Now, the latest album by the ever-evolving Miley Cyrus. While the title may raise an eyebrow, this album is anything but a throwback to her past. It's a testament to her growth, both personally and artistically. Younger Now takes you on a journey through Miley's mature phase, leaving behind the experimental sounds of her previous album, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.

Collaborating once again with producer/songwriter Oren Yoel, who worked with her on the digital-only release, this record showcases a blend of country-infused tracks with a refreshing twist. Don't be fooled by the retro-iconography and the Dolly Parton duet, as Younger Now is far from a traditional country album. It starts with a pair of songs where Cyrus adds her own vibrant spin to the California melancholy often associated with Lana Del Rey. This sets the tone for an album that effortlessly combines country, pop, and disco to create a unique sound that is undeniably Miley. Throughout Younger Now, Miley Cyrus reminds us of her versatility as an artist.

She effortlessly switches between heartfelt country ballads like "Miss You So Much" and infectious disco beats in tracks like "Thinkin'". The juxtaposition of these seemingly contrasting styles is a testament to Cyrus' artistic range and further showcases her ability to captivate listeners with her ever-evolving sound. While some tracks may play with internet irony, such as the Grease parody vibe in "Week Without You" or the GIF-worthy theme park feel of the Dolly duet "Rainbowland," the overall professionalism of production and performance brings it all together. Miley Cyrus proves time and time again that she is a master of her craft. If you're in search of an album that seamlessly blends different genres while still remaining true to its core, Younger Now is the perfect choice.

With its catchy melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, this album is sure to leave you feeling inspired and energized. So why wait? Embrace your youthful spirit and add Younger Now to your playlist today.
