It is possible to walk with these wraps on, but it is recommended you wear shoes for non-skid purposes. Some customers found it difficult to get the wraps snug enough to address swelling while others found it too loose. It comes with a pair of knee-high liners. The Velcro seems to fail quickly and it is not snug enough for all customers. There were concerns that the measurement chart is misleading and there is no allowance for variations in the degree of swelling.
