The Micro-Mark HO Truck Tuner is a nice tool that does a good job of tuning trucks. It is important to be careful not to cut too much material as the tool is sharp. However, it is not effective for tuning trucks with NMRA truck mounted couplers. The tool made a huge difference in improving the performance of a Bachmann train set by cutting a perfect cone in the trucks to allow metal wheels to spin freely. It also works well to remove casting flash and irregularities, reducing rolling friction and extending the life of locomotives. However, it was not effective on older trucks and can be difficult to use. Overall, it is a must-have tool for HO wheel working.
