Nutritionist's Take

STAPLES Clear 211 Carnauba Paste Wax is a product primarily used for polishing and sealing surfaces, rather than a food item. As such, it does not have nutritional value or health benefits that are relevant to dietary needs. Carnauba wax is derived from the leaves of the carnauba palm and is often used in the food industry as a food-grade coating; however, ingestion of carnauba wax is generally not recommended without clear labeling and guidance. Potential drawbacks include the risk of contamination if not used properly, and allergies in sensitive individuals. It may not be suitable for those with strict dietary restrictions or allergies unless explicitly labeled as food-grade. Overall, this product is not a health-related choice but a practical solution for surface maintenance.

STAPLES Wood Conditioners, Waxes & Oils 211 Editorial Review

The STAPLES 211 Carnauba Paste Wax is a popular choice for those looking to add a smooth and shiny finish to their furniture. It is easy to apply and buff out, giving a nice satin finish without changing the color of the wood. The wax dries clear and can be buffed lightly with a dry paint brush after about half an hour. For a glossier finish, additional buffing can be done after the surface has hardened within several days. Customers have found various uses for this wax, including applying it to leather boots and sticky wooden shed doors. It is also recommended for marble vanity tops, although it is advised to buff it with a clean cloth afterward. However, caution is advised when using it on sealed travertine tile, as it may result in a slippery surface. Some users have found that a single can of this paste wax can last for over a year, as only a thin coat is needed and it is buffed off after drying. However, the price of the product is mentioned as being a bit high by some customers. Overall, customers are pleased with the results of the STAPLES 211 Carnauba Paste Wax. It provides a nice shine, protects the surface, and is easy to use. It is important to note that this product is not recommended for use on painted surfaces or for food-safe applications.
