The storage bench is a decent product for the price. It serves its purpose well, and the wooden exterior looks beautiful, albeit the cherry stain is misrepresented as walnut. It has a capacity of storing up to a queen-size comforter and a full-size comforter. The thin bottom panel is of cardboard type material, which is not very sturdy, so it is advised not to put heavy items on it. A spar varnish layer can be applied if it is likely to be exposed to weather or humidity. The bench comes in the dimensions of 50" wide x 17" deep x 25" to the top of the back railing, providing a box depth of 10.5 inches. It can tolerate weight but requires careful assembly. The assembly process might be a little challenging as the corners are tight, and the instruction manual only has pictures, not written instructions.
