It is easy to use, and although there are no instructions on all the options for conversion, it lives up to expectations. The image quality is excellent overall, although some fast movement is not smooth. It takes time to convert, depending on the length of the tape and how well-maintained the tape is. The video import formats include VCD, SVCD, DVD file, DVD DL file, Long DVD file, Long DVD DL file, WMV File, MPEG-1 File, MPEG-2 File. The device downloads the digital video to your hard drive, and after that, if your disc drive reads DVD rw, with a burning program you can render the digital video to that disc. Editing out parts of the video is not possible.
