The force of the water will push the buoy down the line and float the anchor to the surface, then slow down to lock the anchor at the surface for easy retrieval. The AnchorLift works with a 3/8" to 5/8" chain and a rope, and it is sturdy and works well. The device comes with an eyebolt, nut, and washers, but no neoprene.
