The AdvanTech subfloor adhesive is a polyurethane-based adhesive used to glue down subfloor panels and their joints. Buyers should note that this product is not for use on hardwood or engineered hardwood flooring as it needs to expand and contract. It is an ideal adhesive for an existing subfloor with gaps and/or squeaks, and also useful where a normal Construction adhesive won't adhere. The can come with a nozzle size recommendation of 3/8", but at 16" on center, you should expect the adhesive to cover about 13 panels. It is not recommended to use expedited shipping or for use on materials besides wood. The product is sold separately from the gun. Customers have reported that the AdvanTech subfloor adhesive goes farther than traditional subfloor adhesive and eliminates the need for squeezing a caulk gun all day. The product is strong and easy to use. However, some buyers have reported dissatisfaction with customer service.
