EcoPlus Air Diffuser w Base, 10" - Aqua Lung The EcoPlus Air Diffuser with Base is perfect for aerating small to medium-sized fish tanks and ponds. The diffuser is made of heavy rubber with many small holes that produce a lot of air bubbles. The bubbles are the perfect size to generate good upflow and aeration. The diffuser comes with a plastic base and suction cups that can be attached to a tank or any smooth surface. It also sinks to the bottom on its own. The base connector screws into the bottom of the actual lung and has a 3/8" connector on the side of the base. Customers are generally pleased with the performance of the EcoPlus Air Diffuser with Base. One customer is using it with a 12 LPM air pump and membrane at 36 inches depth along with a 4-inch stone, and it is performing remarkably well. Another customer made a base with PVC pipe as they put it at the bottom of a 1-acre pond. However, there was confusion with one customer's question about the minimum/maximum LPM for this membrane.
