The length of the 18 x 12 stencil design is horizontal, and the 18 inches is stencil length. It is worth noting that the 18x12-inch size is the plastic sheet size and the graphic fits within it. The turtle image in the 24 x18-inch stencil is 21.8x12.5 inches, and the whole stencil is 8.5 x 11 inches.
