The 2'' Billet column drop is a well-made device that allows greater flexibility when installing a new steering column in a hot rod. The mounting bolt spacing of 57.1mm (2.25") is set with a 1/4"-20x5/8" bolt, and it has a 2" diameter center hole. The 2-1/2" drop supplies adequate space from the center of the hole to the bottom of the column, making it a suitable option for lowering the steering column for better visibility of gauges. The polished finish is satisfactory and should give it an appealing appearance when added. Besides its ability to fit other aftermarket GM columns, it may not be an appropriate fit for some specific models like that of a Chevy Belair.
