- MODULAR SYSTEM: Gerbing heated clothing can be powered in a multitude of configurations. For this reason all wire harnesses, controllers, battery packs and accessories are sold separately.
- FUNCTIONAL DESIGN: The jacket liner is design for a snug fit. If you are on the cusp of a size please order the next size up Suitable to be worn by riders, the jacket liner has a low profile elastic cuff for improved fit under the outer jacket. The heated apparel has a drop tailback for improved coverage while riding.
- MICROWIRE SYSTEM: Originally engineered for military use. Gerbing's Heating panels are the pinnacle of heating technology. The heated Jacket Liner features seven Microwire-powered heat zones – one on the collar, two on the chest, two on the sleeves and two at the back. These zones ensure even heating for ultimate comfort. The technology offers heat up to 135F.
- 12V POWER SYSTEM: Gerbing heated liner jacket can be plugged into the power source of a motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV, boat or airplane. It keeps you warm at any temperature or at any speed.
- BATTERY HARNESS COMPATIBLE: Gerbing heated clothing can be paired with single zone, dual zone and Bluetooth controllers. These controllers are sold separately.

Answer: The arms are heated...This version is meant to be connected to a motorcycle 12volt battery. Gerbing does make a 7.4volt battery ...'Tour Master Synergy 7.4V Men's Heated Street Motorcycle Jacket' but I don't think the arms heat up -

Answer: It can use a portable power supply only if it has a coax output jack. It does not have an usb end. -

Answer: This jacket is designed for 12 volt system on a motorcycle. -

Answer: No. It's a jacket liner. You wear it under your jacket which should have pockets. You could get some heated gloves and plug them into the wiring harness of the kacket liner, which is what I did. -

Does this product only work when driving a motorcycle?
Answer: The jacket liner is designed to plug into your motorcycle electrical but can be plugged into other circuits by utilizing other connectors such as car or atv. Are you wanting a liner to plug into another circuit other than a motorcycle or atv? Are you wanting a jacket that can be used with a battery pack that you can wear when you are away from your bike? -

Is the inside cloth or plastic
Answer: I've been wearing it everyday for months and I had to look to know the answer. I guess they call it Taffeta. It's not quite plastic, nor is it cloth. But it IS incredibly comfortable. I love it and sometimes wear the jack liner for warmth all by itself, over a tshirt. -

What kind of portable battery do I need?
Answer: It connects to the motor cycle battery by a wire harness. -

Does it look bad without an over coat/jacket?
Answer: It looks fine by itself. That said, I’ve been putting a light leather jacket over it just to block the wind on a motorcycle. I really wish I had tried electric years ago. I love it. A little annoying remembering to unplug though. Just not used to it yet.
