The Heller 80161 1:43-Peugeot 403 model kit is a basic kit originally released in 1979 with only 36 pieces, all of which are used in the final assembly. The kit suffers from its age, and the details are sparse. There is no engine, no internal door card, only a rudimentary dashboard, no tread on the tyres and no chrome parts. The clear window part was very poor with stress marks from the molding process making it distorted. The decals were of poor quality, very stiff and thick, making it difficult to fit. The product is basic and a true pocket money kit. It is cheap but suffers from its age. The lack of chrome parts, as well as the poor quality decals, were frustrating to some customers. One customer received a kit that was incomplete, with missing chrome parts. The absence of some of the pieces was also reported in another review. Another customer thought the product was of poor quality and a wrong purchase. However, other customers thought the car was an attractive and challenging model, especially if you want to build a small scale classic Peugeot 403.
