It has a built-in fan to keep it from overheating with low noise operation and a long operating life. It is recommended as a complement to Ryobi battery sets. It works with Ryobi 18V batteries but can also be used with DeWalt or Rigid with an adaptor. However, it should be noted that this unit will only handle 175 watts, and if you need more, the Ryobi 40 Volt is better. Customers have praised the versatility of the product and its ability to handle multiple electrical devices simultaneously. It is not advisable to use it near water or moisture, as it does not come with GFCI outlets.
