Answer: As far as I know, this cable moves data from computer to computer. You should check with the manufacturer about your camcorder. Beware, you have to leave a voicemail for customer service and they take a few days to return the call. Super frustrating! -

The SIIG MagicSwitch USB 3.0 Keyboard and Mouse Roaming Switch and USB A to USB C, USB 3.0 Data Transfer Cable allows users to share one keyboard and mouse between two machines, drag and move documents easily between the two, and set up multiple monitors. Some customers had difficulty getting the cable to work and reported poor customer service, but others had no issues and found it to be a useful solution for working from home with two PCs. It only transfers data, not programs, and may require special software to transfer programs. The cable does not work with Mac OS 10.15. Some customers found the instructions unclear, while others found the installation simple once they figured it out. Overall, the cable works as advertised, but may not be suitable for all users.
