- Description: The Light Intensity Sensor can be used for brightness and the ambient light intensity detection, which is widely used in intelligent car. Compared with photo-resistor, photoresistor is better in directionality. It only detect light source in front of the sensor. It is better to use for light searching. AO outputs analog voltage. DO outputs 0 and 1 digital signal. When ambient light intensity does not reach the critical value, the DO port output high lever; When the ambient light intensity exceeds a set critical value, the DO output low lever. Digital outputs DO can be directly connected with the microcontroller. Sensitivity is adjustable by adjusting the potentiometer. PCB-mounted LEDs indicate the power (Red) and digital switch output (Green).
